Reconnecting through family.

Evelyn and Daniel already knew our work from her sister’s wedding, which we had also captured in Bremerhaven. They had seen how we work with a couple and later chose us for their own wedding.

From home to church.

The day began with preparations at home, surrounded by family. Then came the church ceremony. Afterwards, we took the first photographs outside the church before heading to the Bremerhaven waterfront for couple portraits.

A ship as a special backdrop.

Among the ships along the promenade, we spotted an opportunity for unusual wedding photographs. We asked whether we could step on board for a few pictures. That allowed us to include the deck, mast and distinctive wheel in the images.

We especially remember a pose that recalled the famous scene from Titanic. That spontaneous visit on board gave their wedding story its own maritime character.
